Services

Due to the continuous development, throughout the 15 years of activity MIRAS has been trying to offer a wide range of services, to meet the demands of their customers. Thus, our client service has developed at the same pace with our commercial activity, so right now we can offer our customers: shipment, cuts, mechanical engineering and a flexible schedule.

Transport

• Our fleet includes 12 trucks, between 6/13.5 m long and a potential load of 2.5 / 3.5 / 10 / 21 tons. Due to this fleet we have managed to make shipments efficient, so we could meet whole truck orders, as well as orders where couplings were required.

Cuts

• The cutting center can make mechanical precision cuts, oxy-gas flame cuts, plasma cuts, profile cuts, guillotine cuts.
• The mechanical precision cuts are meant especially for steel customers (round, square, wide, hexagon steels) for whom the cut precision is very important. For them, the bench saw cuts are better than flame cutting, to avoid damaging the materials around the cuts. The two KASTO belt cutting machines can provide cuts with a 0.5 mm precision, and a perfect smoothness, for sizes up to 260x240mm and 420x400 mm. The smoothness and precision of the cuts can be guaranteed for even 6 mm long parts. The range of materials that we can cut is large, from very soft materials, such as (S235) up to rougher materials (C120, tool steels, rapid steels, stainless steel).
• OXY-GAS cuts are mostly used for clients who want parts of our commercialized materials, but not the whole format provided by manufacturers. These cuts are used especially for plates, usual steels, rarely profiles, but also for the clients who do not have proper shipping means for longer or heavier materials.
• Plasma cutting is offered to the clients who need more than a mere oxy-gas flame cutting. At the same time, to cut small sized parts, plasma can be used, which offers the advantage that the parts thus cut bend much less than in the previous case. MIRAS also has a belt machine for
• Profile and Euro-profile cutting. The quality and precision of our cuts can satisfy the most exigent and selective contractors and customers.
• One last cut category MIRAS wishes to provide as an available service to their clients is the guillotine cutting. Throughout 2011 we intend to start using the guillotine machine, with a maximum cutting thickness of 35 mm and a cutting width of 3000 mm. The latter will be used for unspecific cut orders, or whenever the client should require a better quality cut than oxy-gas flame/plasma cutting.

Mechanical manufacture

• Trying to provide as many services as possible, we offer our interested clients a mechanical engineering service, for bolt manufacture, unspecific part cuts, gussets, fins, main-boards, stands, coupling bars.

Working hours

• For a better commercial process and higher business flow, we have extended our working hours, so the loading and unloading timetable starts at 7:30 and ends at 16:00 daily. We have accomplished this goal by extending from 2 to 3 teams. The division of the materials in 3 warehouses helps us to reduce peak times, dividing them equally. Our dispatch manages this issue constantly.

Non-destructive ultrasound check - US

• Service available since 2009, necessary to the clients and projects with high quality insurance requirements for the delivered materials. The testing is conducted with modern devices, by authorized trained professionals, able to issue and certify US testing certificates compliant with current Euro norms. The US class for which we can issue certificates for plate sheets starts at E0S0 up to E3S3, and for round and square steels, the whole US class, according to SEP 1921.
